Dr Danilo, is a full Professor of Psychiatry at Mohammed Bin Rashid University in Dubai, having moved to Dubai from the University of Ottawa in 2025.
He previously worked at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, UAE and at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Centre for Affective Disorders (Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience), King’s College London, London, UK.
Dr Danilo trained in England at St George’s University of London, Oxford, Manchester (PhD) and the Maudsley hospital.
He is academically active, a member of editorial boards, with expertise in neuroimaging, psychopharmacology and mood disorders. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK.
